Overview
CS2Oracle ("we", "us", "the app") is an iOS application that delivers AI-generated predictions for Counter-Strike 2 esports matches. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to operate the service. This includes:
- An anonymous user identifier generated automatically the first time you launch the app. It is not tied to your name, email, phone, or any social account.
- Your Apple Push Notification Service device token, used solely to deliver alerts you opted into.
- In-app activity tied to your anonymous identifier: which matches you saved, which prediction details you opened, your notification preferences.
- Subscription state, retrieved from the App Store via Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not see or store payment details.
- App usage analytics collected via AppsFlyer SDK — aggregated, non-personal data such as app opens, screen views, and feature engagement. This data is used solely to improve user experience and is not linked to your identity.
We do not collect contact information, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal data.
How we use it
Collected data is used only to:
- Run the service (load your saved picks, sync notification preferences across devices on the same Apple ID).
- Deliver push notifications you explicitly enabled.
- Diagnose crashes and improve prediction quality at an aggregate level.
- Analyse aggregated app usage patterns (via AppsFlyer) to improve user experience, identify popular features, and guide product development.
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Third-party services
The app relies on the following service providers, each governed by their own privacy practices:
- Supabase — stores your saved picks, push token, and notification preferences in a managed PostgreSQL database.
- Apple Push Notification service — delivers notifications to your device.
- Anthropic — generates the AI prediction text. We send only public match metadata (team names, tournament, recent form) to Anthropic. No personal data leaves your device for AI generation.
- PandaScore and odds-api.io — provide public match data and bookmaker odds.
- Apple App Store — handles all subscription billing.
- AppsFlyer — collects aggregated, non-personal app usage analytics (screen views, feature engagement, session data) to help us improve the user experience. AppsFlyer does not receive any personally identifiable information. See AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy.
Data retention
We retain your saved picks and preferences for as long as you keep the app installed. Deleting the app removes the local session; to additionally erase server-side records associated with your anonymous identifier, contact support.
Your choices
You can disable notifications at any time from the in-app Settings tab or from the iOS Settings app. You can cancel your subscription via the App Store. You can delete the app at any time. There is no account to "delete" because no account is created.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. Esports betting culture is referenced but the app provides no betting functionality and no real-money transactions other than the optional subscription.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
